Isn’t it freakin’ hot in August, you say? Actually the median temperature in Iowa is August is 74 degrees, so we’re in good shape. There is definitely some humidity, but the wind off the lake should solve that;)
On August 18, 2004 Liz flew into New York for her friends’ wedding. (Thanks, Jason and Lauren!) While in New York, she visited several friends, including one who happened to be Josh’s roommate. Liz and Josh had met a couple years before that and had not-so-secret crushes on each other. Liz choose her outfit very carefully. Josh installed special lighting in the apartment. After five hours of intense interpersonal communication, Josh asked Liz if she wanted to make out. Four years later [almost] to the day, we’re gettin’ hitched!
